How to Host the Perfect Picnic

Summer is in full swing. Eating al fresco is a regular event this time of year. Follow these tips to take your picnic experience from ordinary to something special.

Tips for Picnic Perfection

LOCATION, LOCATION: Choose a spot that provides both sun and plenty of shade. Scenic grassy settings are ideal - and idyllic.

TAKE A SEAT: Bring comfortable camp chairs and washable blankets or throws - seating options for all ages!

GET COMFY: A throw pillow or two will add aesthetic appeal to your picnic setting and provide an inviting place to relax.

PACK IT UP: Use a sturdy wicker basket or tote to protect and pack food and serving items.

TRANSPORT IT: Pack food into sustainable, washable, leak-proof containers that make serving and clean up a breeze.

DOUBLE DUTY: Be sure to include a cutting board. It's helpful for cutting and serving, and as a flat surface to set things on.

KEEP IT CLEAN: Cloth napkins and tea towels are a nice addition. Use to set food on or to clean off sticky chins. (Pass the watermelon!)

Happy picnicking!
