An all-time classic.

The Thomson Paper Wall Clock combines the warmth of wood with the fine texture of "Mermaid paper," inspired by the gentle ripples of the sea. The rounded clock numbers are die cut for a three-dimensional drop shadow effect. Japanese designer Yuichi Nara crafted the stamped out design using a Thomson die-cutting machine used for puzzle making. Framed in plywood with a glass face.

This modern, analog wall clock features a silent, battery-powered quartz mechanism. Requires one AA battery (not included).

Mermaid® was developed in 1956 under the direction of Japanese designer Hiroshi Hara, its distinctive texture is created by pressing a specially woven felt into the paper during production. Each Thomson Paper Wall Clock is carefully made in Japan from premium materials by skilled artisans.
