This substantial hand forged Hand Trowel is terrific for digging and planting. The trowel blade tapers from 4 inches wide to a point and is knife sharp along its curved edges. The blade is forged from saw steel and holds a good edge even in rocky and sandy soils.

The top of the shank is hammered square and inserted 3 inches deep into a long-ferruled hickory handle, then riveted so it will never come out. The shank has an offset to prevent scraping knuckles when scooping.

Coated in a clear gloss enamel finish to protect the surface from rust. Grinder marks and accent polishing are distinctive to each handcrafted tool; expect variation in finishes and smaller variations in sizes, angles, and parts.
