Raffia Sun Hat is lightweight and breathable, even on a hot day in direct sun. A flexible 4" brim provides generous shade for face and neck, while the crushable, loosely woven crown allows heat to escape for added comfort. The natural raffia weave blocks 95% of UVA and UVB rays. A raffia tie with bow accents the crown, and an interior drawstring adjusts the fit.
Raffia does not turn brittle and break when exposed to the sun. It isn’t stiff like some straw, and holds its shape better when crushed or flattened.
Care Instructions: If hat gets crushed, spray with a mist of water and insert paper towels to reshape.
